Dr Katherine Frayman

Dr Katherine Frayman is a paediatric respiratory physician with a
consultant appointment in the Department of Respiratory and Sleep
Medicine at the Royal Children’s Hospital. She was awarded her medical
degree with honours from Monash University, before undertaking training in
paediatric respiratory medicine at the Royal Children’s Hospital in
Melbourne. Katherine completed her PhD in the airway microbiome and the
long-term outcomes of early respiratory infection in cystic fibrosis at the
University of Melbourne, and maintains an honorary appointment at
Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
Katherine has a broad experience in general respiratory medicine in infants,
children and adolescents. Her interests include airway pathology,
aerodigestive medicine and the respiratory complications of chronic
illness.
