Tahmeena Ali is a registered psychologist dedicated to supporting the emotional, social, and learning needs of children and adolescents. She holds a Master of Educational Psychology from the University of Melbourne and has published research on childhood anxiety and wellbeing.
With a warm and gentle approach, Tahmeena works with children aged 4 to 18 and their families to navigate a range of developmental, emotional, behavioural, and learning challenges. Her extensive experience in school settings has given her a deep understanding of how wellbeing is shaped by a child’s home, school, and community. She has delivered whole-school wellbeing programs, supported families to better understand their child, and collaborated with educators on personalised learning and behaviour plans.
She has a special interest in neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD, as well as anxiety, school refusal, learning difficulties, and social-emotional concerns. She is also highly experienced in conducting psychological and educational assessments to identify each child’s strengths and support needs.
Known for her calm and collaborative style, Tahmeena builds strong, trusting relationships with children and families. Her approach is strengths-based, individualised, and focused on helping every child feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive.
