Mandie is a Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep physician who sees children 0-18 years in multiple locations in Melbourne. She is currently consulting privately at the Sleep Unit, Cabrini and the Melbourne Children’s Clinic in Surrey Hills and will soon join Offspring in Hawthorn.
Mandie primarily sees infants, children and adolescents with sleep disorders (eg. obstructive sleep apnoea, narcolepsy and the hypersomnia’s, behavioural sleep disorders) and manages children requiring respiratory support during sleep. She also manages complex respiratory conditions including chronic bronchitis and the suppurative lung diseases, difficult asthma, complex airway disorders and restrictive lung disease. She is an active member of the RACP (Royal Australian College of Physicians) , TSANZ (Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand), and the ASA (Australasian Sleep Association).
Mandie has a public appointment at the Royal Children’s Hospital where she is the current Head of Sleep Medicine and Director of the Sleep Unit. She also has Honorary appointments at the Austin Hospital, the University of Melbourne, and the Murdoch Clinical Research Institute. She is involved in multiple collaborative research projects across all of these appointments.
