Dr Ciara Earley
General Paediatrician
Ciara is an experienced General Pediatrician who has a consultant appointment at Monash Children’s. She works in the acute inpatient setting and also in the outpatient department.
Ciara obtained her medical degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2001 and spent the first years of her training in Ireland before moving to Melbourne in 2004. She trained in many hospitals including Monash Medical Centre, The Royal Children’s Hospital and The Royal Hobart Hospital. She obtained her Fellowship from the RACP in 2012. She has previously worked as a consultant in the Paediatric Forensic Medicine Department at The Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s. She has a Graduate Diploma in Forensic Medicine and is currently completing a Masters in Bioethics at Monash University.
Ciara enjoys caring for children of all ages from neonates to adolescence. She is particularly experienced in managing children with complex and chronic illnesses such as Cerebral Palsy and Downs Syndrome.
In her free time, Ciara is a keen sailor and has participated in many offshore and inshore yacht races. She also enjoys cycling.
