Psychological Therapy
Offspring Health psychologists provide evidence-based therapy for children and adolescents. We create a safe, supportive space to build coping skills, boost wellbeing, and foster resilience. Our tailored approach addresses a range of challenges, with specialised care for ASD, ADHD, and neurodiverse young people.
Our approach: Family centered, Resilience focused
At Offspring Health, our psychologists provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents. Therapy offers a safe, supportive space where young people can explore their emotions, behaviours, and experiences in a way that feels approachable and empowering.
Using a variety of age-appropriate and engaging therapeutic techniques, our psychologists work alongside each child to foster emotional wellbeing, build coping strategies, and strengthen resilience. Resilience – the ability to adapt and bounce back from challenges – is a core focus of our approach, helping young people to navigate life’s ups and downs with greater confidence and self-awareness.
Families can expect a comprehensive initial assessment to explore their child’s individual strengths, challenges, and goals. Therapy plans are developed collaboratively with children and their caregivers to ensure that support is personalised and responsive to each child’s developmental, emotional, or behavioural needs. Common areas of focus include anxiety, low mood, emotional dysregulation, social connection, and attention-related difficulties.
Sessions may include play-based interventions, cognitive-behavioural therapies (CBT), emotion focused therapies, or practical skill-building activities. Our psychologists also work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to provide coordinated care and reinforce skills across home, school, and community settings. Our goal is to help children not only manage their current challenges but also build the inner resources and confidence to thrive – now and into the future.
