Billings
Offspring is a private fee for service clinic and all accounts are payable on the day of consultation. Our Paediatricians’ fees are determined individually and vary depending on the service they provide to you on the day. Payments may be made via credit card/EFTPOS. Please note that surcharge fees apply for these transactions. Online payments transactions will incur a surcharge fee of 1.8% plus $0.30 fee per transaction whilst EFTPOS payments incur a surcharge fee of 0.95% for credit card transactions & 0.85% for EFTPOS transactions. Consultation fees are subject to review every 6-12 months.
Cancellations
We would appreciate a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you intend to change or cancel your appointment as this provide other patients the opportunity to see their specialist sooner. Missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee at a minimum of $50 but can vary between clinicians. Please note, cancellation fees are applied at the discretion of each clinician.
Repeat Prescriptions (Over-the-phone requests)
Repeat prescriptions for most medications are best obtained through a visit & review with your general practitioner. Depending on the type of medication, you may need a review appointment with your Paediatrician before a repeat script may be provided. If your paediatrician has advised you that they can provide a repeat prescription without an appointment, please contact us well before your next prescription is due as some of our paediatricians are only at the clinic weekly or fortnightly. A minimum fee of $25 will be applicable for script preparations outside of consultations. This fee varies between clinicians and will be applied at their discretion.. If your script is required more urgently than this we may recommend a visit and review with your GP.
