Paula is a general pediatrician who completed her medical degree from The University of Buenos Aires (U.B.A) in Argentina in 2008. Soon after, she moved to Melbourne where she completed the Australian Medical Council requirements and gained full qualification as a medical practitioner in Australia. Prior to commencing her training to become a pediatrician she completed a Diploma in Child Health through The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Sydney.
Paula completed her training as a General Paediatrician in Victoria and she is a Fellow at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She has worked in various health organizations within Victoria but spent most of her time at The Royal Children’s Hospital, The Royal Women’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital.
Paula has an interest in a wide range of pediatric issues affecting children from birth until 16 years of age. She specially enjoys working together with parents to find the adequate solution for each particular child taking into account the whole family’s wellbeing. Paula has experience managing problems such as Eczema, Asthma, Constipation, Toileting Problems, Chronic Fatigue, Developmental Delay, Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Behavioural Challenges to mention a few. Paula is fluent in Spanish and is currently acceptin new referrals.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children and love involving them in cooking, crafting and outdoor activities.
