Dr Itay Zelcer
Paediatric Neurologist
Dr Itay Zelcer is an experienced Paediatric Neurologist with a consultant appointment at the Monash Children’s Hospital. He graduated medical school (including an MSc in Neuroscience) and completed a General Paediatric training in Israel (2012). Itay then completed his Paediatric Neurology training at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada (2016) and has been practicing as a Paediatric Neurologist consultant since. Itay moved with his family to Melbourne in 2019 and was recognized as a Paediatric Neurology specialist by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2020.
Itay sees patients with all types of neurological disorders. He has particular interests in epilepsy, neurogenetic conditions, developmental delay, headaches and tic disorders.
When away from work, you will find Itay enjoying the beautiful Australian outdoors with his wife and three children.
